Orange flowers

This is tiger lilies, I found the name from fairegarden's recent post.

I saw these beautiful orange flowers when taking a walk close to an executive mansion. Possible someone will recognize this flower, I think it is perennial, possible part of the lilies family?

  1. The plant looks like a canna variety. The flowers colour orange with those dots on the petals are unique. Beautiful ;-)

  3. Delightful orange flowers! They look like Cannas and Tiger Lilies that I used to see in California gardens. They probably wouldn't thrive in the desert where I now live.
