Updates on Brazos Blackberry (Rubus Ursinus Brazos)

See the blackberry plant just arrived from the nursery last month.
It is now growing quite well and blooming with some large white flowers. It loves full sun and 10-10-10 fertilizer. This type of blackberry production is initially expended from Mexico, the name is based on 'Brazos', an old erect blackberry cultivar later developed in Texas in 1959.

  1. I have some in my garden and do adore fresh delicious fat blackberries. I know exactly when to pick them-when the bees are buzzing around. Those will be huge blackberries judging by the size of the flowers.

  2. I like the first photo very much. Now I can see how Blackberry flowers look like from near. Hmm... I don't remember tasting the fruit. Oh I am not sure, but we have blueberries and raspberry sold here... imported and very expensive!
